La píldora roja (inglés: red pill) es un término de la película matriz^[wp] que, similar a la respuesta de 42^[wp] de la serie de novelas La guía^[wp], llegó a ser muy popular.

Hay pocas personas que no han visto la película The Matrix^[wp] o al menos oído de hablar de ella. Por supuesto, los efectos especiales están muy bien, pero es aún más interesante si se considera que este escenario no es descabellada. Mucha gente vive hoy como si estuvieran atrapados en un programa informático.

Matrix es una película brillante y estos son os mejores frases de Morfeo^[wp]:

1. "Fate, it seems, is not without a sense of irony."

   "El destino, al parecer, no está carente de cierta ironía."

2. "What is 'real'? How do you define 'real'?"

   "¿Que es 'real'? ¿Podrias definir 'real'?"

   "Es tu última oportunidad, después ya no hay marcha atrás. Si tomas la píldora azul termina la historia, despiertas en tu cama y creerás lo que tu quieras creer. Con la roja te quedas en el pais de las maravillas, y te mostraré hasta donde llega el agujero del conejo."
